摘要

 

本文旨在開顯「般若波羅蜜」對大乘修學的關鍵意義，我們將直接從相關經論的論述下手，期望藉由對第一手資料的解讀，釐清其中相關的思想脈絡。本文分成兩個部分，第一個部分探討「般若波羅蜜」的意義，分由梵字的字義、經典的定義、「般若波羅蜜」的種類、「般若波羅蜜」在六波羅蜜中的地位、以及「般若波羅蜜」的轉依功能等不同的面向，對「般若波羅蜜」的意義作一個詳細的探查。第二個部分探究「般若波羅蜜」的修學，以及它如何會是大乘修學地地轉上的必要因緣。其中揭示出「般若波羅蜜」的修學貫穿了整個大乘菩提道，涵蓋世間、出世間以及有為法和無為法，意即「般若波羅蜜」的修學程度，決定了大乘菩提道的修學次第。

Abstract

 

The main purpose of this study is to single out the significant meaning of Prajñāpāramitā in the learning and practice of Mahayana Buddhism. The study is divided into two parts. In the first part, the meaning of Prajñāpāramitā in terms of its Sanskrit signification, the definition from sutras, its categories, its status in the Six Pāramitās, the function of transformation that Prajñāpāramitā bears is fully investigated. In the second part, the practice of Prajñāpāramitā as well as why it is the indispensable factor in the promotion of the stages in the

Mahāyāna Bodhi Way
is examined. It shows that the practice of Prajñāpāramitā goes throughout the
Mahāyāna Bodhi Way
 ranging from the world-law to spiritual law, and the phenomenal law to non-phenomenal law. That is to say that the degree of practicing Prajñāpāramitā decides the practitioner’s position in the Stages of the
Mahāyāna Bodhi Way
