本研究以經行政院衛生署醫院評鑑合格之東部地區四家區域醫院的護理人員為研
究對象，共計發出852 份問卷，扣除填答不完整之無效問卷，實得有效問卷640 份，有
效回收率為75.1%。
採結構式問卷調查法，由受訪者以匿名方式親自填寫問卷。問卷內容依據研究目的
與參考國內外相關文獻，經六位專家學者修正後成正式問卷。問卷內容包括：護理人員
基本背景資料、二手菸暴露情形及二手菸防護行為。
本研究結果除可提供拒吸二手菸之宣導或防護計畫之參考，作為未來研究之基礎，
亦可作為喚醒衛生主管機關對二手菸防護之重視，及提供二手菸防制政策規劃之依據。

Abstract
The present study aims to explore the issues and concerns related to the second hand
smoke exposure facing the nursing staff in the hospital. The participants are selected from
four regional hospitals of eastern Taiwan passed the hospital accreditation review by
Department of Health, Executive Yuan. A total of 852 questionnaires are distributed. The
participants are instructed to complete an anonymous self-administered structured
questionnaire. After removing those invalid questionnaires, it leaves a remaining 640 valid
questionnaires, which give s a valid return rate of 75.1%.
The development of questionnaire items is related to the issues of second hand smoke and
prevention of second hand smoke based on the literature and reviewed by a panel of six
experts. The questionnaire items include the demographic information, issues related to
second hand smoke exposure and the prevention and protection behavior of second hand
smoke in the workplace.
The results of this study clearly demonstrate the critical issues concerned by the healthcare
service providers that are in hope of providing the government health administrative agencies
as the references and basis when designing second hand smoking prevention programs and
planning second hand smoke control policy.
