摘　要

Securin在乳癌有過度表達, 然而在黏液性乳癌之表達目前只有一些資料, 本實驗目的在比較Securin在黏液性乳癌與非黏液性乳癌中之表達。我們研究23例黏液性乳癌及103例非黏液性侵浸性乳癌, 用免疫組織化學染色觀察Securin在這兩類乳癌中之表達。黏液性乳癌比非黏液性乳癌有較低的Securin表達（87.0% vs. 65.0% ; p =0.047），且黏液性乳癌比非黏液性乳癌有較低腋下淋巴腺轉移率（11.8% vs. 50.5% ; p =0.01）。本研究結果Securin在黏液性乳癌顯示有較低的表達率, 而且黏液性乳癌預後較佳, 我們期望以Securin來作乳癌預後的指標。

Low Expression of Securin in Mucinous
carcinoma of the Breast

Abstract

Securin is overexpressed in breast cancer. However, there is little information on its expression in mucinous carcinoma of breast. We sought to investigate the expression of securin in mucinous carcinoma and non-mucinous carcinoma of breast and to explore the relationship between its expression and pathologic factors. We studied 126 cases of breast cancer including 23 cases of pure mucinous carcinoma and 103 cases of infiltrating ductal carcinoma. Immunohistochemical analysis of securin expression was performed using paraffin embedded section of breast cancers. Low expression of securin in the mucinous carcinoma was significantly different from the non-mucinous carcinoma (87.0% vs. 65.0% ; p=0.047). Mucinous carcinoma with axillary lymph node metastasis occurred less frequently than non-mucinous carcinoma (11.8% vs. 50.5%; p = 0.01). The result of this study demonstrated that low securin expression in mucinous type breast cancers indicated good prognosis in this type of breast cancers.
