我國高級護理職業教育演進之研究

摘 要
我國護理事業源起於十九世紀末，是一種外來的醫療文化，係經由外國傳教士和修女傳入我國。我國最早的現代化醫院是教會醫院，最早培育專業醫護人員的學校是教會學校。我國第一所正式護士學校的立案、第一次的護士證照考試和第一張護士執業證書的核准，都是由非政府機構辦理的。
本研究希望透過有計畫的文獻閱讀，能對我國近代高級護理職業教育歷史，進行完整的記錄，盼望對珍貴文化的長久保存，盡棉薄之力。 本研究範圍，以護理教育為主，有部分不宜切割的助產教育也會納入。內容則包括教育的興起、教育宗旨、教育課程、教學設備、教育法規、護校概況、護校教育的改進以及我國婦女如何開始接受學校教育等。

Documenting The Chronicle of Nursing Vocational High School

Abstract
Nursing profession began in the late 19th century when the foreign missionaries and nuns brought in the foreign health care culture. Therefore, the first modern hospital was the church hospital and the first health care education was the church school. In other words, the first registered nursing school, the first nursing licensing examination, as well as the first nurse practice license had been founded and issued by the non-government agency. This study presents a careful literature review documenting the contemporary history of nursing vocational high school in our country, which has been a cherished legacy of nursing profession. The documentation focuses on nursing education, particularly the midwife education, but also chronicles the rise of education, the education goals, curriculum, facilities, regulations, vocational schools, improvement of vocational education, and how women received school education in our country.
