具服務導向的QoS-aware ZigBee 家庭網路

摘要
「以客為尊」的核心概念是服務導向架構SOA(Service-oriented Architecture)成為
現在網路上新興的系統架構模型的一大利基。本文提出用SOA 架構建立一個數位家庭
服務平台,以結合居家閘道器Residential/Home Gateway(在此即為QRG;具QoS-aware
功能的居家閘道器)、ZigBee-based LBS(Location-based Service)的室內定址服務系統,
和ZigBee-based 的健康看護監控系統。透由QRG 啟動DiffServ-QoS 的訊務管控機制,
可將訊務流量依其訊務種類的不同而加以分類,依使用者的需求給予不同的服務等級,
再分別對各類訊務做不同的QoS(Quality of Service)管控,對多媒體服務和重要的居家
安全照護給予較高的優先權,使其在網路擁塞時仍能維持良好的服務品質,使其在危急
時刻能即時的傳送警示、求救訊息,以滿足現代家庭對於安全、娛樂、照護與健康監控
的要求。由實驗結果顯示本文提出以SOA-based 數位家庭服務平台能對家庭網路的訊務
在網路壅塞時仍能維持良好的服務品質。

Abstract
Service-oriented architecture (SOA) centered customer focus, is one of the new
structures attempting to alleviate the problem of interoperability among complex dissimilar
systems. It is seen that the need for successful adoption of SOA within the home network has
become a major agenda item. Experimental implementation of a SOA-QRG home network is
made. Services embedded within the larger home network in the presented example included
multimedia streaming and a wireless location-based service (LBS) indoor location positioning
and emergency healthcare monitor/alarm. The QRG classifies forwarded traffic for optimal
use of limited network bandwidth resources. Streaming video and emergency healthcare alarm
services require timely delivery and demand the fastest response. These applications are
assigned higher priority. Experimental results confirm that SOA-QRG maintains high
standards of multimedia QoS even during network congestion on an experimentally
bottlenecked network, at all times maintaining excellent general position monitoring and
critical emergency warning behavior.
