摘　要

 

 

 

本研究目的主要了解保母人員幼兒早期性齲齒的知識及幼兒口腔保健的行為，並探討保母人員幼兒早期性齲齒的知識與幼兒口腔保健的行為的相關性及影響因素。研究方法採用調查研究，以立意取樣的方式，樣本來自花蓮縣保母聯誼會現職保母，共61人完成資料收集。研究結果顯示保母人員幼兒早期性齲齒的知識平均答對率0.67，顯示保母人員幼兒早期性齲齒的知識仍不足。有關保母的幼兒口腔保健行為，本研究保母多數能讓托育的幼兒養成良好的刷牙習慣。至於正確的刷牙方法、飲食習慣及口腔衛生促進行為，如使用牙線與家長討論幼兒口腔問題等行為的平均得分為0.62-0.64，顯示保母在此部份的執行情形仍有不足及錯誤之處。保母的教育程度在保母對幼兒齲齒的認識以及幼兒刷牙習慣的養成有差異。保母證照的有無在保母對幼兒齲齒的認識及執行長牙前的口腔清潔上有差異。研究結果可提供未來進行保母訓練課程參考。

Abstract

 

The purpose of this study was to understand the oral hygiene knowledge and behavior about early childhood caries of family child care providers. Cross-sectional study design was used. A total of 61 subjects were selected purposively from the Association of Child Care Providers in Hualien County . The result showed the mean score of oral hygiene knowledge about early childhood caries of family child care providers was 0.67. It appeared the knowledge of the family child care providers about early childhood caries was lack. Most of family child care providers could keep children good oral hygiene habits. But the score of brushing teeth correctly, good dietary patterns and promoting oral health such as using dental floss and discussing with parents about oral health problem of children was 0.62-0.67. The oral hygiene about early childhood caries preventions was not done well by family child care providers. The education status and qualification of family child care providers were influence factors on their own knowledge and behavior about early childhood caries. The results of this study provided health care professionals data to design training program for family child care providers about early childhood caries.
